Are you looking for a feline-focused Licensed Veterinary Technician position where your contributions truly make a difference? Join us at Cat Adoption Team (CAT)! Our full-service, onsite veterinary hospital is adding another experienced, licensed veterinary technician for our cat shelter. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in working exclusively with cats in a nonprofit shelter medicine setting, with a strong focus on team collaboration and Fear Free handling. In our hospital, there is limited client interaction and no pressure to make sales. Instead, we will use your skills and training in surgery (anesthesia induction, intubation, high speed/high quality spay/neuter, dentistry) and in medicine (lab sample collection, radiology, exam and treatment of shelter cats). Our work is fast-paced and no two days are ever exactly the same.
This is an hourly, full-time position, working approx. 30-40 hours per week. The pay range for this position is $28.85-31.60/hour; starting at the higher end of the range may be available for more experienced candidates.
